Egg Standing Li Chun Day 立春

today i woke up at 12.30pm.
the first things that i still thinking was about my yesterday problem where what decision i need to decide of what life i want to be.
actually it was quite true that all thing happens was just based on you though of what you want in life instead of other things when i "self reflect" (反醒) a bit of myself.
during the afternoon, mother cooked some simple dishes as my lunch.
then i went to do some of the online stuff.
around 3pm mother asked me to move some stuff out of sister room because they coming back tonight.
during the evening, i just cleaned up my room's ceiling fan using the ladder.

then i just continue to use my PC to see some information.
it seems that many people had posted "standing egg" picture on Facebook and i started to wonder why.
after some research, i realized that today was known as "Li Chun" (立春) day.
according to Wikipedia, the terms Li Chun egg balancing or egg of Li Chun refers to a Chinese folk belief that it is much easier to balance an egg on a smooth surface during Li Chun day.
it is usually falls on the official first day of spring in the Chinese lunar calendar, which is February 4 or 5 and it is easy to balance it on this day than any other time of the year.
moreover, balancing fresh chicken eggs on their broad end was a traditional Li Chun ritual in China and has come to be widely believed in the United States since 1945.

this means that today will be counted as taking over of new Zodiac animal (Dragon) from Zodiac animal (Rabbit) and i would like to wish everyone a Happy Dragon Year 2012.
at first i couldn't believe that the egg can be balanced until i tested myself.
well, i just went to the refrigerator and bring out almost a dozen of egg and try balanced.
however, it could not work after some moment and i started to ask other friend.
it seems that only raw uncooked egg and must be placed on the ground floor in order to "stand" so i just left the egg at room temperature to defrost.
after that, i retry again and finally did it but just two egg as picture below.then i told my parent and they start to believe too.
however, they was in a rush to attending some dinner function around 7pm.

actually this "standing egg" test seems to be not very special because Martin Gardner said that "if you are convinced that an egg will balance more easily on a certain day you will try a little harder, be more patient, and use steadier hands. If you believe that eggs won't balance on other days, this belief is transmitted subconsciously to your hands" according to Wiki.
therefore it seems to become a big discovery when people related the standing egg with Li Chun.
anyways, it can help to increase the relationship with your family when you do this egg stand test with your family members.
however, i found that the eggs seems to crack a bit and believe it might cause by gravity force.
therefore i just cooked it with warm water to be eaten as half boiled egg as picture below.i just feel quite funny when thinking back now by eating it.

around 9.20pm my sister arrived back home with his engaged husband.
then he shared some working and interview experience story to me and i feel myself quite "sucks" when compared with him.
he seems to be so daring to apply all job stated in Jobstreet although he just have SPM qualification but it seems quite true that not all job require high education although they stated they need diploma, degree or any higher just like what i experience during my job interview.
actually i also seems being "shoot" to say as a "strawberry generation".

it is because actually there is some low salary job available but myself seems so choosy on it.
around 11pm my parent arrived back home.
well, i just asked my father some opinion about the company.
he just tell me a quite "decision" things which is it all up to you whether your decision want to continue study or just working because i mention that most of the job require transportation.
if i choose to have a own car, i need to commit to work because i need to pay for the monthly installment for it.
if i choose to study, i need to guarantee i can pass all subject on all exam including UK thing.
at the end, the things that really matters is the decision i need to make.
somehow just feel quite "stress" because everything is all about decision, decision and decision.
seriously i still undecidable until now although it was just a normal matter.
